He first broke onto the music scene in 2016, performing at the Trillectro Music Festival. He continued to climb in popularity when he released his mixtape “Empty Bank” only a few months later. In 2017, IDK released a collaborative album with Adult Swim which used six songs in a TV series soundtrack. Since then, IDK has released two more EPs and three more albums featuring JID, Tyler, the Creator, Offset, MF Doom, Snoop Dogg and others. His EP “IDK AND FRIENDS 2” was used as the soundtrack in NBA all-star Kevin Durant’s documentary “Basketball Country.”
IDK continues to create contemporary beats and biographical flows while working with Harvard University to launch a music business and industry program for students of color. The students in the program receive a full tuition scholarship.
