MSU’s Lyceum Series brings family oriented, shadow-dancing TV stars to the stage

STARKVILLE, Miss.—Mississippi State’s 75th season of the Lyceum Series continues with a performance from The Silhouettes, the 2011 America’s Got Talent first runner-up and 2020 America’s Got Talent: The Champions Golden Buzzer winner.
The family friendly shadow-dancing group will display its talents 7 p.m. Oct. 11 at Bettersworth Auditorium in historic Lee Hall. The performance is free for ̾Ƶstudents, and the general public can purchase tickets at .
The group, created and directed by Lynne Waggoner-Patton, was founded in 2009 and continues to train, film and perform at its own theater in Westminster, Colorado.
For the ̾Ƶseries, it will share their critically acclaimed show “LOVE Happens.” Filled with visuals featuring their love of friendship, family, pets, music and life, the show is meant to bring audiences along for a ride of emotions.
The Silhouettes previously showcased on television commercials, the Muscular Dystrophy’s Show of Strength, Nickelodeon’s “See Dad Run” and performed internationally in countries including Ireland, Poland, Mexico and Canada. The group is currently a resident performer at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas.
Through showcasing its talents around the world, the group has raised millions of dollars for children’s charities with the hope of making an impact on lives everywhere.
