鈥淥ur 2022 theme for Humanities Camp is 鈥楿nderstanding Mississippi to Write the Future,鈥 and we hope our 24 school-nominated scholars will develop, nurture and apply their critical- and creative-thinking skills while being introduced to a variety of humanities topics presented by experts in their fields,鈥 said L. Abigail Voller, camp coordinator and an instructor in MSU鈥檚 English department.
鈥淭hese scholars will have hands-on experiences with access to university resources, along with social activities. The ultimate hope is that they have incredible learning opportunities while having fun and meeting new people from different walks of life鈥攅xperiences they can take with them throughout their futures in both their university and career paths,鈥 Voller said.
MSU鈥檚 College of Arts and Sciences is home to the most diverse units for research and scholarly activities, including natural and physical sciences, social and behavioral sciences, and the humanities.聽For more details about the College of Arts and Sciences, visit .
