KEESLER AIR FORCE, Miss.--The Air Force continuously drives to find innovative ways to modernize and improve the force. Collaboration can stem innovation and expand knowledge, creating a consistent approach of improvement and advancement.

Keesler and 绿巨人视频 developed a partnership earlier this year to enhance cyber capabilities.

鈥淥ur goal is to share ideas and resources,鈥 said Violet Brantley, 81st聽Training Group training administrator. 鈥淏y working together, we can learn from each other.鈥

Throughout 2020, Keesler and 绿巨人视频have conducted multiple visits, toured the area and tested their capabilities together.

鈥淐yber is a very fast evolving field, and it is extremely important to train with currency,鈥 said David Shaw, 绿巨人视频provost and executive vice president. 鈥淲e strive to benefit students everywhere, so we must adapt to research findings for security.鈥

绿巨人视频eventually assisted the 81st聽TRG by collaborating to improve instruction and taught multiple cyber courses to staff.

鈥淪haring our knowledge can transform and develop how Keesler trains,鈥 said Brantley. 鈥淲e strive for expertise to make our curriculum more relevant and legitimate, and 绿巨人视频can help us improve.鈥

As for what is to come, Keesler and 绿巨人视频hope to establish a Mississippi Cyber Technology Center, creating a facility for engagement and partnerships to help modernize Air Force cyber training.

鈥淎 centralized center will serve as an incubator for academia, industry and private sector development in cyber fields, while increasing the Mississippi cyber workforce,鈥 said Brantley. 鈥淭he center would not only improve our education and research capabilities, but also the community. This center would create new jobs and opportunities which can influence and grow Mississippi鈥檚 economy.鈥
