STARKVILLE, Miss.—One master’s and six doctoral students at Mississippi State are the university’s newest Graduate School Student Hall of Fame Scholars.
Pictured at a recent Graduate Student Appreciation Week ceremony are (left to right) Roy Jafari, Youyi “Emma” Su, Carolina Baruzzi, Benjamin M. “Ben” Krings, William David Harris, Whitney D. Crow and Feng Wen. Nominated by department heads and selected by the dean of their respective colleges, the scholars all have made significant contributions to the growth of ̾Ƶthrough their exemplary leadership abilities and research or teaching skills in their chosen fields of study.
Jafari is an Iran native studying electrical and computer engineering. Su is a business administration/management student from China. Baruzzi is an Italy native majoring in forest resources with a concentration in wildlife, fisheries and aquaculture. Krings is a kinesiology/exercise science major from Prescott, Wisconsin. Harris is an applied anthropology master’s student from Oxford who also holds a bachelor’s in anthropology from MSU. Crow is a life sciences/entomology major from Atoka, Tennessee. Wen is a China native studying veterinary medical science.
