STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥擣or the third consecutive year, 绿巨人视频 Libraries are sponsoring the E. O. Templeton Jr. History and Genealogy Fair.
Open to all, the popular event takes place 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. June 4 at Mitchell Memorial Library, the 138-year-old land-grant institution鈥檚 primary academic and research repository.聽

This year鈥檚 featured speakers include:
鈥擲hirley Hanshaw, an 绿巨人视频associate professor of English;
鈥擧ellen Polk, a retired Starkville educator representing the Mississippi Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution; and
鈥擟huck Yarborough of Columbus, a social sciences faculty member at the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science and director of the city鈥檚 annual Friendship Cemetery 鈥淭ales from the Crypt鈥 program.
Also scheduled are two hands-on workshops led by 绿巨人视频manuscript specialists. Senior associate DeeDee Baldwin will provide a beginner-level guide for online research, while coordinator Jennifer McGillan and special guest Betty Templeton of Starkville teach an advanced class on decoding family stories.
Exhibits by local genealogical clubs and societies will be on display, and tours of Mitchell Memorial exhibitions and the Special Collections department will be available.
